Primary Schools
Nineteen primary schools are presently engaged, the longest of them since 2006.
The Traditional Programme
The studio provides the conventional school photography programme in its established form: individual portraits, tiered class groups with named composites, sibling portraits, staff photography, and the customary specialist groups.
We have not seen fit to depart from that format. Schools that wish their photography to be conducted differently — outdoors, informally, or in a contemporary style — are generally better served elsewhere, and we say so plainly at the enquiry stage rather than at the proposal stage.
Scale
The studio attends schools of up to twelve hundred students. Attendance is calculated at approximately two hundred and fifty students per photographer per day, and we bring sufficient photographers that no class waits longer than fifteen minutes.
Included in the School Programme
Individual Portraits
Formal seated portrait and a second frame for every student, taken to the studio's documented lighting standard.
Class Groups
Traditional tiered class photograph with a printed and mounted named composite supplied to the school for each class.
Sibling Portraits
Brothers and sisters enrolled at the school photographed together, included without additional charge and supplied in each sibling's gallery.
Staff Photography
Whole-staff photograph, individual staff portraits and executive group, provided to the school without charge.
Specialist Groups
Sporting teams, ensembles, choirs, houses, and student leadership. As many as the school's schedule permits on the day.
Year Six Graduation
Separate graduation portrait sitting and a framed cohort composite supplied to the school for permanent display.
