Terms and conditions
Written to be read, not to be survived.
1. Bookings
We confirm your date in writing with a run sheet. Either of us can cancel free of charge up to seven days out. Inside that we'll always try to move it rather than charge you for it.
2. Weather
Because we work outdoors we may move a booking for weather, usually with two days' notice. There's no fee and no limit on how often. If the weather turns on the actual morning we'll make a call together with your director on the day.
3. Consent
Your centre or school confirms it holds current photography consent for each child and gives us that list before we come. We check it with your nominated supervisor on the morning. No child is photographed without confirmed consent.
4. What things cost
We don't charge the centre or the school anything. Families pay one flat price per child which includes every frame of that child as full-resolution files. Prints are optional extras. If you don't order, you're not charged.
5. Copyright
We keep copyright in the photographs. Families who order get a permanent, non-exclusive licence to print, copy, share and display images of their own child however they like, personally. Not for commercial resale.
Your centre or school gets a permanent free licence to its room or class groups, staff portraits and grounds photography for its own website, newsletters, enrolment material and displays.
6. Getting the photos
Galleries open about a fortnight after the shoot and stay open twelve months. Prints are posted within two weeks of ordering.
7. If you're not happy
Tell us and we'll reprint it or refund it, your choice. That's the entire policy and we've never needed a longer one.
8. Children who were away
We come back at no charge, generally within a few weeks.
9. Liability
Nothing here removes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond that, what we can be liable for is limited to what you paid us.
10. Which law applies
Victorian law.
