School photos that don't feel like school photos
We work with small and medium primary schools across central Victoria — mostly the ones who've decided the grey-backdrop production line isn't for them.
What's different
Individual portraits are taken outside in the school grounds, in whatever light the day gives us. Class photos too, unless you specifically want the traditional tiered indoor version — plenty of schools do, and that's fine.
We're set up for schools up to about four hundred students. Past that we're honestly not the right choice, and we'll tell you so rather than take the booking and rush it.
Timing
A two-hundred-student school is a single day. Four hundred is two. We don't compress a school into fewer days than it needs, because the whole point is that nobody's rushed.

“Our previous photographers did the whole school in four hours. Redgum took two days and the difference is on every single face.”

Most schools change photographers about once a decade, so it's worth a proper conversation. Happy to come out and have one.
