Chiefly from directors considering engaging us, and from families whose service has just done so.

What does it cost a family?: A single fee covers the full set of that child's frames as full-resolution digital files. Printed products are optional and separately priced. There is no sitting fee, no minimum order, and no charge to a family whose child is photographed but who chooses to buy nothing.
Do you charge the service?: No. We do not charge services, and equally we do not pay services a commission or fundraising share. We think a commission arrangement puts a service in an awkward position and we would rather not create one.
What if a child is absent on the day?: We return. Where a service has more than two children absent we schedule a catch-up morning at no charge, usually within a fortnight. Where it is one or two, we generally come back for an hour.
How long do we have to order?: Twelve months from the day the gallery opens. If you need longer, ask — we have never refused.

How is consent handled?: Your service supplies its enrolment consent record. We reconcile it against our own register on the morning of the session, with your nominated supervisor present. A child whose consent status we cannot confirm on the day is not photographed. We would rather miss a child than get this wrong.
Are the photographers checked?: Both hold current NSW Working With Children Checks. Numbers and expiry dates are provided in writing before each engagement, together with certificates of currency for public liability and professional indemnity cover.
Do you photograph school-age children?: No. We work exclusively with early learning services. Schools operate on a scale and a timetable that would require us to become a different kind of business.
Can we see the images before families do?: Yes. Directors receive the room groups and environment frames first, and we are glad to hold family galleries for a few days if that suits your communications.
Where do the files live?: On Australian-hosted infrastructure, with a second encrypted copy held offline. Originals are retained for seven years and then destroyed unless you ask otherwise.
