Privacy policy.
Short version: barely any of your data interests us, we sell none of it, and you can have the photos deleted whenever.
Who we are
Cheeky Monkey Photography, Fitzroy North, Victoria. Everything below sits under the Australian Privacy Principles, which come from the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
From centres: kids' names, their room, and whether photography consent is recorded. From families: your name, email, a postal address only if you order a print, and your order history. Card details go straight to our payment provider — we never see them.
Photographs of children
A photo of a child is personal information and gets treated as such. We only photograph a child where the centre has recorded consent and we've confirmed it with the nominated supervisor on the morning.
The photos exist to fill your order and to hand the centre its own group shots, staff portraits and room photography. A child's photo never goes on this website, on socials or anywhere public unless that family has separately agreed to that specific use in writing. Change your mind whenever — email us and it's down the same day.
Where it's stored
Australian servers, encrypted. Only the four of us can get in. Original files are kept four years so families can re-download, then permanently deleted.
Who else gets it
Our print lab and our payment provider, only as far as they need to fill an order. That's the entire list. We don't sell, rent or trade personal information and we don't run a mailing list.
Your rights
Email bookings@cheekymonkeyphotography.com.au for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to delete your child's photos. We answer within thirty days. If we make a mess of it, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner takes complaints at oaic.gov.au.
This website
No cookies, no analytics, no pixels, no ad tags. The fonts are the only external thing it loads.
