01 — engagement

Bookings are confirmed in writing with a date and a run sheet. Either party may cancel without charge more than fourteen days out. Inside fourteen days we reschedule.

02 — consent

The centre warrants it holds current photography consent for each child and supplies that record before the session. We confirm it on the morning. Unconfirmed children are not photographed.

03 — fees

No fee is charged to the centre and no commission is paid to it. Families pay a single fee per child covering every usable frame at full resolution. Prints are optional.

04 — copyright

Copyright remains with Northlight Studio. Families receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to reproduce, print, share and display images of their own child for any personal purpose. Commercial resale is excluded.

The centre receives a perpetual licence to its room groups, educator portraits and environment set for its own website, enrolment material and displays.

05 — delivery

Galleries open within ten working days and remain open twelve months. Prints dispatch within ten working days of order.

06 — remedies

A print that is damaged, incorrectly made or not as ordered is remade. A family dissatisfied with their images is refunded on request.

07 — absence

Children absent on the day are photographed on a return visit within three weeks, at no charge.

08 — liability

Nothing here excludes any guarantee or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. Subject to that, liability is limited to the amount paid.
